This website was created to help people do. That’s it. That’s our goal. Our core values are trust, transparency and approachability. Abby and Shana created and maintain the website with no financial benefit.

Doers 4 Democracy is a registered nonprofit in the state of Ohio. Doers 4 Democracy is NOT a 501(c)(3). Any donations made to Doers is NOT tax deductible.

In writing the “Take Action” pages, we strive to uphold the following principles:  

  1. If we make a statement, a source is included that supports that statement. That source is from a reputable organization and is linked for reference. 

  2. We have tried to honestly and accurately portray current events.

  3. For the organizations in which we link, we try to ensure they have an “action button.”  We are not connected to these organizations and it is up to the reader to ensure they are upstanding organizations.

Our AI Policy

We use AI to help our research and writing. Our fights with Claude are epic! AI supplements our work but we directly create the website content. We want this website to connect humans-to-humans. That starts with us connecting with you and you trusting the content of the website. If you think you are seeing “AI slop,” ask us about it.
